I joined the military at 17 years of age, enlisting in the Corps of Royal Engineers. After completing basic training, supplementary combat engineering and specialist courses, I was posted to Germany and travelled the world both on exercise and operational tours, including the Middle East and North America. In my junior management role, my responsibilities included managing security operations, implementing security measures and improving infrastructure.
Following a severe spinal injury sustained whilst posted to a parachute centre, I was medically discharged from the Army and entered the private security sector. I focussed my skill sets on surveillance, counter surveillance and executive protection, but specialised in methods of entry and locksmithing. I believe strongly in continuing professional development and as such have successfully completed further courses including advanced photography, CCTV operation and Open Source Intelligence gathering.
I have worked for various clients and companies, ranging from private individuals to large businesses in industries such as construction, hospitality, health & fitness, local government, and Police Scotland.
Having worked as an assessor for a year, I will be continuing my professional development by adding the specialism of safe and vault engineer to my skill set, and looking towards becoming a tutor in the industry.
We have a team of experienced tutors with years of experience in both the locksmith industry and the teaching industry
