After earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLAN, I entered the world of a maintenance engineer to explore the passion for fixing machinery. After this I began my career in education at Wigan and Leigh College, where I have been focused on designing for manufacture, maintenance techniques and how to design for the future and where I have been supervising research projects for the likes of Sellafield, Cavendish and MBDA.
From this I have recently completed my Post graduate Certificate in Education where learning new techniques and psychology can be used to get the best out of the students as well as pushing myself. I have been applying this knowledge and experience to become more innovative and inventive and linking this to past events in history and how it can be used to help write the future.
I am now focusing my career in the education sector by studying a master’s in education where I will be continuing to use my knowledge and experience to shape the way I can be innovative and develop both my educator skills as well as my engineering skills.
