Changing Education Paradigms - Adult Learning

Here at Train Locksmiths Ltd, our tutors are qualified not only in their specialised subject area but actually in teaching education. This means that you are having excellent training provided to you by tutors who know how to adapt their teaching to suit learning styles and skill level to challenge and motivate you to reach your desired goals.

Myself as one of our tutors; follow a British author and speaker called Sir Ken Robinson as he finds some of his speeches and theories really refreshing in the world of education to assist students to achieve their potential.

Sir Ken Robinson did a presentation on ‘Changing Education Paradigms’ (see above video) and this theory really resembles some of the differences between our private college and mainstream education.

I believe that we SHOULD NEVER meet the future requirements of our students by looking at the past… But we SHOULD constantly evolve studies, practical tasks, support and subject areas to suit the future needs of the industry whilst keeping the student at the heart of the paradigm thus making it relevant at all times. Also he believes that having that qualification isn’t a guarantee of employment or success… BUT if we invest in ourselves with education, knowledge and skills then we are dynamic and can conduct divergent thinking on a daily basis, which gears students to adapt and change to any future environment, as the future is unknown!

Sir Robinson explained in the video that we all have the capacity for divergent thinking and high intelligence but it is limited by the standardisation of education in mainstream education…

REMEMBER if you become a locksmith it’s a new career completely and thus creating teh opportunity for a new beginning to launch your knowledge the way you want it to be and our tutors are dedicated in making sure this happens through many aspects like our student portal, business portfolio, support services and small class sizes.
