Level 3 Qualification
Our Locksmith Course is specially designed around anyone who has little or no experience in the Locksmith profession. Once the course has been completed you will be a fully qualified, competent & confident Locksmith.
4 Day Auto Course
This Locksmith course shows you how to cut, clone or code car keys into vehicles and how to gain access to vehicles using methods like: The Window Method, The Airbag Method, The Picking Method, Laser lock picking & jiggling.
Novice 7 Day Course
Same as the 5 Day Course (House & Industrial Locks) plus extra 2 day car opening. Once the locksmith course has been completed you will be a fully qualified, competent and confident Locksmith.
Nottingham locksmith courses and training

The course was a 5 day course or 7 which was optional which included the auto side of locksmithing. The class size was a maximum of 4 and was very relaxed and formal, the instructor Mark Aldred seemed very knowledgeable and answered all questions fired at him at any time during the course.
The course came with all the basic tools you would need to start you off in all the aspects of locksmithing, I'm glad I went for this locksmith course because the 2-3 day ones scattered around the country would not be sufficient enough time to learn all aspects of the locksmith industry.

I run a key cutting shop in Gateshead so was pretty familiar with keys and locks but only ever the cutting aspect! A natural progression for me was to consider the next step and become a locksmith. I done a lot of research into the courses on the market (of which there seems to be many) but none of them had the appeal Train Locksmiths Ltd did after I seen their website. Informative, helpful, though, easy to follow and in depth I quickly realised this was the course for me.
I booked a 7 day (House, Industrial, Commercial & Automotive) locksmith course and was not disappointed. Starting your first day you realise that it's going to be a busy week but a fun and productive week there was only 3 including me in the class which made it a very personal feel and you know you're onto a winner when there's a cup of coffee made for you before you even get started. (and many more to follow through the week which is always good)!
Mark the instructor set out the plans for the week but said at any point if we needed to slow down or wanted to go over anything we were unsure of then all we had to do was ask. His training technique for me was perfect, easy to follow, very hands on and done in such a way you quickly find things click into place. We had 5 days on domestic locks, cylinder, mortice, padlocks etc then 2 days on car locks which were a massive bonus for me as that's a field of locksmithing i am looking to pursue.
We were given all the tools needed to do the training and the job for real after we had trained but we also were given what i think is a fantastic bonus with Train Locksmiths Ltd which is the aftercare. The fact there only a phone call away is reassuring especially when you're first starting out and as a supplier of all the stock, machines, and tools you will need you know you really have got everything in place to go on and start up your business.
I would defiantly recommend Train Locksmiths Ltd to anyone out there who is looking to get into this area of work. Honest, friendly, helpful and most of all good at what they do means you will not be disappointed. I know i wasn't. "
I attended the 4 day auto locksmith training course at Train Locksmiths Ltd, I turned up at the purpose built training centre with all the tools needed to set myself up as an auto locksmiths, as been on other training courses but had no confidence in the courses and instructors.
I found the lads at Train Locksmiths Ltd really helpful & friendly all because it is a family run company and left the course with loads of confidence and now ready and prepared to do all auto Locksmith jobs with Train Locksmiths Ltd only on the other side of a phone call to help!
